John Kerry, Waffles & Google Bombing
The blog Esoteric * Diatribe is trying to start a Google bombing to get the #1 search result for the term waffles on Google to be Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry’s homepage. They have already succeeded in manipulating the site to #1 on Yahoo (click here). They have not yet succeeded in cracking the top 100 on Google. To see how this is going click here to see the current results for waffles on Google. This is, of course, inspired by last falls successful Google bombing that got President George W. Bush’s biography from the White House website to be the #1 result for the term miserable failure. To see the results of the Bush Google bombing click here. This isn’t really a political blog but this is interesting stuff to us technology people.
