Today the Mostly Mets blog fnally passed the 10,000 hit mark. I want to thank all those that have contributed to this milestone. It may not be much compared to other blogs but I still appreciate your visits.
Star Wars Bound
Sorry for no real post today. I had a late morning and am going to Star Wars this afternoon. Aint’ life grand? In the meantime talk amongst yourselves. I’ll give you some topics. Aaron Heilman in the bullpen. VÃctor Zambrano starting against the Yankees. Pedro Martinez got a cortisone shot. Discuss.
RSS Feed Problems Solved
An interesting thing happened on my way to post this morning. No, I didn’t get box seats from Omar Minaya. I discovered that my RSS feeds weren’t working properly. Though this really isn’t Mets related I figured I’d share the details about this issue here as a public service to anyone else in the blogsphere […]
New Features
I’ve added a couple of new features to the sidebar on the right of the page. At the end of the links section there are some new links so you can subscribe to the RSS feed of the log using services like Bloglines or MyYahoo. Underneath the MLB Scoreboard is a new section titled Upcoming […]
The Met Cats
I was browsing around the web aimlessly when I came accross the Communication Breakdown, the blog for Chris T.’s wfmu.org podcast of the same name. They have a cute post proposing the Mets bring back The Met Cats. Cute.

As a family man I don’t often have a chance to catch more than an inning or two of a game on TV. But as a working man I have a 1-hour commute in each direction during which I catch up on my reading and other miscellaneous things. My commute is my ‘me’ time. So […]
Posting Lull
I haven’t blogged in the last few days due to the birth of my new baby boy who was born this past Friday. My blogging activities will be sporadic in the next couple of weeks while the new guy settles into the batters box but then I’ll be back swinging for the fences again.
Pedro Delay
Today’s game was delayed in the 6th inning while a revolving billboard in center field showing an ad that included a picture of Pedro Martinez got stuck and wouldn’t go back to black. Looks like Pedro was really hungry to make an appearance at the home opener.
Today’s The Day
I can feel it. I can’t explain it but it just could happen.
