Blog Update
I spent some time this morning updating some of the plugins on this blog to newer versions. The updates should be mostly transparent to readers. But as with all updates I ask that you let me know if you see anything strange.

Mostly Mets/Yahoo Fantasy Baseball?
Yahoo opened the signup period for their fantasy baseball leagues today. Anyone interested in a Mostly Mets league? If we can get 8 participants we can have a competitive league. Ten would be better but I’d settle for 8. Leave a comment for this post if you’re interested.

New Third Column
I have edited the theme this blog uses so that it now has 3 columns. This should bring more of the sidebar features closer to the top of the page without drastically changing the look and feel of the blog. Let me know what you think by leaving comments.

Opening Day Countdown
Check out the cool opening day countdown timer at the top of the page. It’s counting down to 1:10 pm on April 3 when the Mets are scheduled to kick off the 2006 season against the Washington Nationals at Shea.
