The Sun’ll Come Out Minaya!
I’m amazed at how few words had to be changed to make this work. Here’s a Fred Wilpon inspired version of the song Tomorrow from the Broadway show Annie:
The sun’ll come out
Minaya!
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There’ll be sun!
Just thinkin’ about
Minaya!
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
‘Til there’s none!
When I’m stuck in a day
That’s gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!
The sun’ll come out
Minaya!
So ya gotta hang on
‘Til tomorrow
Come what may
Minaya! Minaya!
Fred loves ya! Minaya!
You’re always
A day
A way!
