Weather and the Phillies Series
Yesterday was a dead day. There was absolutely nothing to blog about. Today seems to be much of the same. The only issue out there right now is weather. It’s a gloomy day out and there were thunderstorms overnight last night and this morning. There is more rain in the forecast this afternoon and tonight. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for clouds all day with a chance of rain at night. And Thursday’s forecast calls for rain as well.
This forecast does not bode well for the the three game set against the Phillies that is scheduled to begin tonight. It’s possible that we could see all three games get washed out. For that reason I don’t think officials will be quick to cancel any of these games. They’ll wait as long as possible before calling any of these games. So if you’re going to CitiField tonight dress warmly, bring the rain slicker and be prepared to be late for work/school tomorrow.
