Mets To Look At Posada, Torrealba
Mark Hale reports in today’s New York Post that the Mets are targeting Yankees free agent Jorge Posada to be their catcher for next season. Mets brass has not closed the door on Paul Lo Duca but are clearly looking for other options and since Posada is a free agent it makes sense to talk with him. I have also read a few reports that the Mets will look to talk with Colorado Rockies free agent catcher Yorvit Torrealba. These rumors bolster Ken Rosenthal‘s opinion expressed on SNY‘s Daily News Live yesterday that Lo Duca is as good as gone.
