The Mets affectively cut Cliff Floyd loose with yesterday’s signing of Moises Alou. According to general manager Omar Minaya Alou will be the regular left fielder next season making Floyd, affectionately called ‘glass’ by fans, expendable.
After doing time for violating probation by using cocaine Dwight Gooden gets released from prison today. Good luck, Doc.
