Foul Ball Hits Wife
I saw a story today that was totally unrelated to the Mets but was just too good to let go by without comment. Baltimore Orioles oufielder Jay Gibbons came up to bat in the ninth inning with one out and proceeded to foul a pitch straight back behind the plate that cleared the screen and hit a fan. But it wasn’t any ordinary fan that got hit in the ribs by the foul ball. It was Gibbons’ wife! What are the odd?!?!
