Jets Sign Testaverde
Thirty seconds after saying I may not post much on the Jets (the season looks lost with both QBs Chad Pennington and Jay Fiedler on the shelf) something interesting happens. I just heard that the Jets have signed
Vinny Testaverde. I’m waiting for an official confirmation on this but it’s an interesting signing. We all know what we get with Testaverde and his arm is still strong so it’s an interesting match. One of the things I read in this morning’s paper was that the team would probably not sign Testaverde because he’s a slow learner and they would need someone who could learn just enough to play this week. So with Testaverde in the fold who do you start this week? Testaverde or Brooks Bollinger, who was scheduled to start when word came down that Pennington and Fiedler would not be able to? I guess we’ll have to wait to find that out.
