Big Whoop
The Mets beat the Nationals last night to break a 3 game losing streak. Pardon me for not getting excited. The Nationals are a last place team and losers of 13 of their last 16 games. Are we supposed to celebrate every time the Mets beat a last place team? Last place teams are the teams you’re supposed to beat. If you get too excited about beating the teams you’re supposed to beat you’re likely to have your hopes crushed by teams your need to beat (like the Phillies and Braves).
Another game in Washington tonight and then back to Shea for a weekend set against the Braves.
