Mets Acquire Stokes From Rays
The Mets acquired reliever Brian Stokes from the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday for cash considerations. Stokes, 28, went 2-7 with a 7.07 ERA in 59 games for Tampa Bay last season. On behalf of Mets fans everywhere let me say big woop!
