More Players Accused of HGH Usage

The latest round of illegal substance accusations took another step today when the San Francisco Chronicle leveled some blows. The Chronicle reported that Seattle Mariners outfielder Jose Guillen, former Giants third baseman Matt Williams and former pitcher Ismael Valdez all bought human growth hormone. Though Williams says he took HGH on doctors orders to rehab an injury the Chronicle reports that all three had used prescriptions from the same dentist who prescribed HGH for Cleveland Indians pitcher Paul Byrd.
