Lo Duca Divorcing
The other day Mets catcher Paul Lo Duca announced that he would not speak to the media for the rest of the season. This came as some surprise as Lo Duca had been very forthcoming with the media since coming to the Mets this past winter. When asked why he made this decision Lo Duca cryptically answered “You’ll find out tomorrowâ€. That was on Saturday.
Today is Monday and although we don’t have official word on the reason the New York Post it may be because Lo Duca is in the midst of a divorce from his wife. The divorce proceedings stem from accusations that Lo Duca had strayed form his wife by commiting adultery and has been going on since mid April.
This may or may not have been the reason that Lo Duca stopped talking with the media. We’ll have to wait and see if anything else comes to light.
