The Mets won 3-2 at Shea today to start the season off with a victory. Tom Glavine got the win, Billy Wagner saved it, Xavier Nady went 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and David Wright hit a homer. Among other highlights Cliff Floyd threw out Alfonso Soriano at home plate.
