At age 37 it appears that Sammy Sosa is realizing that he’s at the end of the road. After turning down an offer from the Washington Nationals yesterday numerous reports have Sosa on the road to retirement. The reports are fueled by his agent, Adam Katz, who has said Sosa’s likely played in his last game already. Despite his 588 career home runs (most of which were hit at tiny Wrigley Field) I will always remember Sosa for landing on the DL last season after a sneeze caused him to suffer back spasms.
