Mets Quotes
I added a new sidebar item called Mets Quotes. This is powered by a plugin that shows a random quote from a quotes database. I filled the quotes database with over 100 quotes that are either about the Mets or from personalities that were affiliated with the Mets at one point in their career. This includes 6 by Ralph Kiner, 6 by Tom Seaver, 44 by Casey Stengel and 29 by Yogi Berra. Others quoted are WesWestrum, Tug McGraw, George Steinbrener & Sparky Anderson, among others. If you have any suggestions for quotes please be sure to let me know and I’ll add it to the rotation if it isn’t there already.
